Rustic Simplicity
Oh how we swooned over this couple and their gorgeously rustic early spring day wedding! Splendid Days were honored to be a part of this love filled day at Lilyvale - a homestead, one hour from Sydney. Everything about this wedding we love love love! Laura, the gorgeous bride, who is an exceptionally talented individual, also added her personal touches making it a truly romantic occasion. Country Charm
It was a gorgeous day in Spring when our beautiful couple Rachel and Josh tied the knot on an absolutely stunning property on the mid north NSW hinterland. Splendid Days were thrilled to be a part of this day and experience all the charm and loveliness that comes from the country!
Rachel and Josh hired our gorgeous majestic and regent marquees furnished with lounges, outdoor settings. and little touches such as birdcages, floral cushions and aged baskets that added to the country garden feel. It was a perfect setting situated on a hill top next to a magnificent fig tree – you couldn’t ask for any more!
Rachel also added her personal touches with homemade jams as bonbonerie and added hay bails for casual seating with cream throws – Oh so sweet!

Trend {interactive experiences}
One of our favourite wedding trends that is quickly becoming popular is the presence of interactive “stations” at a wedding allowing your guests to create their own “mini experiences”.
These stations come in many forms such as food stations (dessert buffets, candy bars, oyster bars, sushi bars etc) drink stations (cocktail bars, champagne bars, cigar and cognac bars (for the REAL men 
) and besides food and drink there are interactive guest book tables, photobooths, games……
Not only do they add to your guests’ experience, inviting them to “make their own” dessert, cocktail, photo etc that reflects their personal tastes and style , these stations also add visual interest to your wedding. And really…..who doesn’t love that?

After what seemed like an endless supply of rain that threatened to put a dampener on our beautiful couples dream day, a minor miracle happened. An hour before the ceremony begun, the clouds parted and rays of sunshine filled the sky shining down on the majestically beautiful Central Coast property. A Splendid Day it certainly was! Congratulations to Jay and Esther, we were delighted to be a part of your stunning day xxx here is a sneak preview…….
